We use an online booking system to make it as convenient as possible for you to book your appointment. If you would prefer to book your appointment by phone or email then please contact us or pop into the centre during our manned reception times to speak to us face to face.

health assessment

Health Assessments

Struggling to figure out how best to approach your health issue? Feeling lost or overwhelmed, or just unsure what service may most suit your needs? Why not come in to meet one of our qualified nurse practitioners for a Health Assessment. This will give you the opportunity to talk through your symptoms with an experienced health practitioner who will listen and understand your problem from all angles and advise you on your best course of action.

A Holist Holistic Health Assessment will look at your general health and wellbeing past and present as well as your presenting issues and recommend the most appropriate therapy. this could be a therapy offered at the clinic or an external referral.

​

A Pain Assessment will explore your pain history, measure your pain, review your medication and establish the impact pain is having on your mobility and ability to function. You will then be recommended the therapy(ies) that will give you the most pain relief.

 

Food Sensitivity Assessment (includes an intolerance test if indicated)

Think you may have some food sensitivities or intolerances? Book in for a 'food sensitivity assessment' then get tested and have follow-up support with how to best manage any food sensitivities. Your appointment will consist of an initial health assessment to ensure an intolerance test is indicated, if it is not you may be offered an alternative, more suitable treatment. 

Test price depends on the lab fee on the day of testing so is variable.

Sports and Injury Treatments

Sports Massage works on specific areas that are experiencing pain or injury, this treatment is particularly recommended for people suffering chronic or acute pain, loss of range of movement or any other symptom from new or old injuries.​ It can help in the recovery of injury to soft tissue, improving performance and alleviating pain.​

Musculoskeletal Acupuncture is used specifically to treat chronic or acute muscular or joint pain. It is used to address issues such as, back and shoulder pain, arthritis, sciatica, sprains, achillies tendon ruptures, plantar fasciitis and much more. The use of additional techniques such as sports massage, assisted stretching and cupping makes this an incredibly effective treatment.

Holistic Massage is designed to facilitate a sense of deep relaxation reducing stress, anxiety and clearing general aches and pains. It can improve sleep, balance the mind and body and improve your general wellbeing. 

We offer a wide range of holistic massage including, body massage, hot stones, aromatherapy.

Deep Tissue Massage has a milder more generalised approach than Sports Massage whilst still maintaining the same depth and pressure. It is aimed at calming pain symptoms, stress responses whilst still providing a deep level of relaxation.​​

Pregnancy Massage is a soothing massage to ease aching muscles and relax the mind. This one hour session of massage for pregnant women helps to relax hard working muscles and gives you time to unwind. Pregnancy massage is beneficial for promoting lymphatic drainage, removal of toxins from the body, supporting blood circulation, reducing aches and pains and so much more. It is also known to have a calming effect on your growing baby.

The practitioner uses gentle hand movements on or above the body to channel universal energy to the client, activating the natural healing process of the body and restoring physical and emotional well-being.

Reiki can be given lying down or sitting up. Whichever is most comfortable for the client.

Therapy is bespoke for every client.  Vicky will ask for your medication list, a history of your life so far and what you want to achieve with therapy.  She will then provide a prescription of hypnotherapy with an estimation of how many sessions will be required to reach your goals.  Hypnotherapy is used for managing stress, anxiety and aids healing, change and personal development.  It is also helpful for management of weight loss, inner child healing, PTSD,  trauma, phobias and addiction and much more. 

Cupping Treatment

Cupping

Cupping has become popular in recent years with athletes and people suffering from acute
and/or chronic pain. This technique places vacuum filled cups to identified areas of the body.
It increases blood circulation relieving muscle tension, improving overall blood flow and
promoting cell repair. It also helps the body form new connective tissue and blood vessels in
the highlighted area. A session lasts ½ hour and is not painful though you will be left with
round discoloured marks where the cups have been placed which can last a few days.

Alex will use her skills and experience of being an NHS Occupational Therapist and level 5 Sports Massage Therapist to support you to continue to carry out tasks and activities that you find enjoyment in or are essential to your wellbeing, maximising your independence, function and mobility.

Clinic Opening times

Our opening times depend on when our therapists are in clinic with clients and varies each day. We offer appointments between 8am and 7pm most days. 

​

Our manned reception times are:

10am - 2pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
